The smell of wet earth is one of my all time favourite smells..... there is something about wet earth, rain, trees all squeaky clean , puddles on the street, people running helter skelter, hot samosas and pakoras and steaming hot cups of chai.....that is so romantic...
Today , we came home after a long and harrowing day at the hospital......we came back with good and positive news so were very relieved..... It seems the weather gods were also celebrating with us.....it started raining......
Everyone..went into their respective rooms and fell asleep......but I just couldn't. How could one sleep when the weather is finally gorgeous.....
So I sat on my balcony and watched the raindrops splash off the railing....drip onto my parched potted plants.....watched the brown park in front of my apartment slowly turn a bright shade of green.....watched the skies....turn from bright yellow to shades of grey ( this is the first time that grey has looked so uplifting)..... I love rain......

I too love the smell of rain. I like to actually walk in the rain and feel the raindrops on my face. You feel so good and cleansed because it is Mother Nature's bounty.
I have two suggestions:
1. I am a member of www.parentree.in and I think its a great online forum for parents to interact. Better still, you can actually feature your blog there so that hundreds of parents can view, read and comment on it. Do become a member as its free and really an effective way to bond with other parents.
2. If a post has too many pics in it, the visual impact becomes too strong and a reader focuses on the visual and tends to not read the post itself. Spreading out too many pics on a blog scatters a reader's focus as well.
Keeping two pics in a post itself with a short para post may be more effective. Just a suggestion, thats all.
